We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to own key accounting functions, support financial reporting, and partner with leadership to drive informed decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic business initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Assist with audits and coordinate requests from external auditors.
  • Monitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures.
  • Review operational processes and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership teams on financial initiatives and special projects.
  • Assist with cash management, treasury activities, and financial planning efforts.
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
